Today’s #RoleModelMonday is the oldest woman to climb the world’s tallest freestanding mountain. After only nine days, 89-year-old Anne Lorimor completed climbing Mount Kilimanjaro. She shares, “there was a point I was really concerned, because I fell before I started up the mountain, and I had a great pain in my side, and I couldn’t take deep breaths.” Being worried that she wasn’t able to go, Anne was still determined to embark on the journey, so she did! This world record setter stated that she has always had a love for hiking and even climbed the mountain four years ago. Congrats Anne on this amazing accomplishment!
