This badass just posted for us protectors. #repost @レオナルド・ディカプリオ #RG @ashlukadraws: WE ARE MAUNA KEA.
Standing in solidarity with protesters on Mauna Kea, protecting the Sacred ‘āina from scientific imperialism. It breaks my heart to see indigenous people and land continue to be dismissed by the state of Hawaii and its wealthy developers.
Words from @kanielaing:
“You don’t have to be Hawaiian to understand the dangerous precedent this sets. Mauna Kea impacts all of us. It’s an environmental struggle against wealthy developers who seek free reign. It’s a microcosm of what’s happening across Hawaii and the world: profiteers exploiting fragile places without regard for the future. We’re not concerned about how many passive dollars this will bring our economy. We are concerned about whether we will be able to breathe in 20 years, or be out of fresh water, or have any space left in our sacred places, or if the beaches we grew up in still be there. Some things are more important than a quick buck—like our planet’s and peoples’ survival. That would be $1.3 billion well spent. #maunakea #wearemaunakea #kukiaimauna”

@prideofgypsies Mahalo nui Jason, for standing up for what is pono! You are beyond amazing for staying true to who you are from beginning to end, no matter what! Whether it be your koko Hawaiian or your Iowa roots. Mahalo nui for using your platform to tell the world of worthy news. You are the epitome of what it means to be Hawaiian..humble, wise and honored. We are so blessed to share this 'āina with you. Sending so much love from Kaua'i, to you and your beautiful 'ohana. Me ke aloha mau loa, Pi'ilani and Daniel ❤💛❤💛As a native of Hawai'i nei, it wasn't until we had our own keiki/children that I, Pi'ilani, personally learned in depth of the MANY sacrifices our ancestors before us made in an effort to preserve the essence of our HAWAIIAN CULTURE. Nonetheless, I do wish I knew then all that I KNOW NOW. It wasn't until I, Daniel, a native of Texas, moved to Hawai'i and the people here took me in and accepted me as HAWAIIAN. With great honor I made this place MY HOME for the last 15 years. I may not have the koko/blood, but HAWAIIAN RUNS DEEP THROUGH MY HEART. It wasn't until nearly 12 years ago when WE decided together, that we would immerse our 3 keiki into the heart of what is OUR native language through Hawaiian medium education. It was here that we BOTH realized just how SACRED OUR HAWAI'I TRULY IS and will FOREVER be! It wasn't until then, that we really understood just how much was SADLY TAKEN FROM US! Today, while we are HEARTBROKEN AT WHAT LITTLE WE...ESPECIALLY OUR KEIKI HAVE LEFT, we are also HONORED AND BLESSED BEYOND MEASURE to say that OUR BOYS are FLUENT speakers of 'ÕLELO HAWAI'I and more than that, THEY are PROUD TO BE KANAKA HAWAI'I, THROUGH KOKO AND THROUGH CULTURE! We have worked so diligently to instill the HAWAIIAN CULTURE into each of them, and in turn, they have TAUGHT US as their parents, to APPRECIATE IT! PLEASE, PLEASE DON'T TAKE ANYMORE FROM OUR KEIKI!!! PLEASE DON'T TAKE ANYMORE FROM US! BEFORE WE WERE FORCED TO BECOME THE 5OTH STATE WE WERE A SOLE KINGDOM. WE ARE NOT AGAINST SCIENCE, BUT WE KNOW THAT SACRED GROUNDS SHOULD BE RESPECTED AND UNALTERED. JUST BECAUSE ITS LEGAL, DOESN'T NOT MAKE IT **Cont'd as REPLY**

Since 1989,Unity Children's Home has worked diligently to protect our community’s children and strengthen their families through diverse programs and services. Your donations help provide vital programs to at-risk children. With your support we can build brighter tomorrows for children today.Children left with no permanent family have no one to whom they can turn for social, emotional or financial support. They often face numerous barriers and they struggle to become self-sufficient adults.

@prideofgypsies just have to say if it wasn't for yourself and @therock publicising this I wouldn't of heard about it being from the UK. I've never been able to get across the pond but because of the beauty and culture Hawaii has been on my wish list of places to visit since I was a kid. This kind of blind regard for peoples culture is an absolute disgrace, I wish all the very best

I am again waiting for the next chemistry in Kiev, but because of the very low hemoglobin, everything lingers a little, the second day blood is being poured. Do not pass by thanks to all of us I have high chances of life, there is only finance to pay this chance.
