QUEER FEELINGS POST: Summer was always the most uncomfortable for me "style-wise." Traditionally "girl" shorts were always too short. "Boy" shorts were always too long. I never liked a spaghetti strap, and men's tanks were far too wide.

I'm really happy that as I've entered my 30s, fashion has moved forward to meeting in the middle. Or maybe I've just found ways to make it work for me? Who knows. Either way - as dorky as I may look on paper - I feel pretty great and cool inside.
Hope everyone gets to feel this way (someday) too. 💜

zephyrblu I'm not comfortable in shorts either. Even working in a hot environment, I wear jeans. I've always suffered this way. This summer I wore shorts to work for the first time. It was scary and I was highly anxious, but I got through it. I was more comfortable temperature wise than I had been ever! My anxiety about wearing shorts might be a little different than what you experience, but I understand. Glad you're comfortable and enjoying your style! 💜💜

thatguatemalanchick I totally feel this and I’m kind of the same way! I love finding the happy medium between masculine and feminine. And some days I feel more masc and some days I feel more fem. bekaneggs 30s are so fucking cool, you can do whatever you want and nobody can tell you you're wrong anymore! I just shaved my head (kinda like yours) and IT IS THE GREATEST. If you are not-Hannah reading this and having a hard time, IT GETS BETTER.
