Farewell to this 500-year-old flat in a lovely Surrey Village. It had so much character and warmth, I feel like the house itself had spirit and soul. As for the town itself - as a foreigner, I always felt like an outsider even after three years. But the beautiful surrounding nature was always pure and unbiased, and I will miss the golden summer fields and the snowy branches.
築500年の小さな田舎町のこの家ともお別れ。温かい個性があって、魂の宿る家だった。正直、この町自体に対しては、外国人として3年住んで、馴染めた感覚は全くなかった。それはロンドンと比べて、明らかに外国人が珍しいからだったと思う。それでも周りの自然環境は偏見を知らない。夏の黄金の野原や雪の積もる枝は、思い出に残る大切な心の風景。#countrylife #uk #gradetwolisted #historic #town #surrey #rustic #house
