This “getting back into shape” thing is going really well. On this run I almost shat me-self. Any other gals (moms?) dealing with this 😩

@brooklyndecker I hear you. I went for months crapping my pants without warning (just walking to the mailbox 😒), hoping it would just go away, before I finally decided to go to the doctor about it. If you go, hopefully you have a better doctor than I had. Told me what I had, tried to put me on steroids (FAT NOPE), but nothing else. I’ve done my own research. Turns out it can kill ya if untreated. I don’t know if you have family with auto immune diseases, but my mom has Chron’s and passed her crap (originally wasn’t intended to be a pun, but it works nicely) down to me. #funtimes

Ladies please understand that incontinence is Common BUT not Normal. Kegel exercises can help most women restore their pelvic floor strength. The problem is that most women are not taught the importance of their pelvic floor and why Kegel exercises are so important. This needs to be taught in high schools then women would not be having these issues later in life. 50% of women suffer with weak pelvic floor issues and this is not acceptable. Prevention before cure is my Mission 💪👌💃

Oh no! How scary for you. Are you doing your Kegels? I'm on a mission to ensure all women are given the information and support that they deserve. The first time most women hear of the word "Kegels" is once she has developed an issue. It should not be like this! At least 50% of women suffer with urinary incontinence and the majority can improve with Kegel exercises daily. If you need any Kegel info please ask. Take care.

Been there, turns out I had acquired some new allergies that were messing with my whole body. Hormonal changes from pregnancy yaaaaaaasss ? more fun. I'm 74 months postpartum and doing aight now. Allergies were finally figured out when my youngest was 3, why it's taken me those 6 years to get to this point. Now it's just back problems...33 and feeling 93. Megan's on fire! ??? Hopefully just muscle stuff for you!

Just think of Paula Radcliffe’s iconic marathon moment. Basically, not even the professional running mamas can get away from it. You’re doing great! Maybe try a treadmill so you’re near the loo 🤷🏼♀️😂 apparently every person post potty training and pre incontinence will statistically shit themself at least once in their lifetime. I don’t know whether mothers have higher stats than men though... 🙈😂

I am not a mom however about a year ago I was diagnosed with hashimoto thyroiditis which causes uncontrollable weight gain. Within the last few months my levels are finally normal again and my metabolism is slowly moving in the right direction. Working out has saved me with controlling this nasty autoimmune disease.
