madhinchy @iconaccidental I don’t think it’s a question of intelligence around consumer choice. Of course people can make a choice. It’s that people follow you for a particular thing (fashion content) and then to have a super abrasively integrated post with a Visa literally pushed out into people’s faces feels very at odds with the rest of what you do. Yes people use Visa cards to purchase items (so theoretically brand fit) but it’s perhaps the way it is integrated that seems unnatural. perhaps for long term followers you should recognise it came as a bit shocking compared to your other sponsored content. For many people they will just unfollow rather than provide any feedback. But perhaps some feedback should be seen as useful.
