Marilyn was such a great interviewer and made me feel so at ease and gave me the time to talk about a very important issue which is @wemovement ‘s #cleanwateron campaign which is going on now. Just $25 provides someone with Clean Water for life. Or for “North America” what you spend at Starbucks for just one week from Monday to Friday. In Kenya 🇰🇪 where I visited, the fetching of clean water (Which is often far away) falls to the women and especially young girls of the community. Providing clean water to the community is not just a health issue. When we provide the community with close and immediate access to clean water this means young girls in Kenya are relieved of this duty and are then able to go to school and be educated. Bettering them selves, their community and their countries future. Clean water does not just sustain life, it provides opportunity.
