About the project - The key starting point for the project was taken from the absurdity and ambiguity of contemporary sustainable fashion. The word ‘sustain’ is quite new and has no clear definition, a phenomena which is being exploited by different brands for contradictory purposes. The collection is based on a concept of misunderstanding of information provided to the general customers through newspapers, magazines and internet. In order to show that terms related to fashion, ecology, the environment, sustainability and ethics, are not fully understood or are used incorrectly contradictory material combinations were used together like natural leather and plastic.
