Last night at the show in Raleigh, I had the honor to meet my new friend Austin. He’s 11, and recently got diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. He shared with me that music is the place he finds the most strength, and I loved playing “flower” for Austin and his family. As always, stay strong my friend. ✌🏽🤘🏽✊🏽

In a world where we have access to so much music....people are starting to seek “more” through social media.... And like, sometime that’s just seeing what someone had for breakfast...but I much prefer seeing what someone has done for someone else. I can only look at a green smoothie so many times before I just go make one myself... but a happy healthy & loved child? I’ll click “like” a thousand times and always come back to see more. Iam a fourth grade teacher and amateur musician myself, and always appreciate seeing how you are so selfless in your art. You are an amazing talent, and my wife and I, and our kids just love all of your music.
