Happy Pioneer Day ♥️ On this special day I’m reminded of my ancestors.. especially my great great great great grandmother who followed her heart and left Denmark to unite with fellow saints of the church that I’m a part of today, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was courageous and inspired and what she did has directly affected my life. I am so blessed and what I love about my church is how much work we do on genealogy and more personally, for my direct ancestors. I believe families are literally eternal and they can be joined together through the sealing ordinance which take place in our dedicated temples. I feel my ancestors protect me in this life and learning about them makes me feel closer to them 💞

Totally agree. I think of those ancestors, especially those fore-women often and are so grateful for their sacrifice and vision. My pioneer ancestors came from Holland and England! ❤️ happy Pioneer Day!! ?
