tallulahray I think I may have met my match when it comes to finding local market across the world! You would love the ones here in New Delhi, India. And the food for that matter. I picked up all my furniture from local artisans. But my best piece is my antique Rajasthani bookshelf I scored at a real local outdoor furniture market for about 20 bucks. The guy initially didn’t want to sell it because it was an “old” piece and he was worried that I would come back because it was not in good condition 🤣 Wish I could show you a photo; it’s gorgeous!

walkblack114 On the way to Kruger National Park I found a flea market on the side of the road and bought a necklace made of amber and painted cow bones. It’s sounds yucky but it’s very beautiful and I get tons of compliments when I wear it. #SouthAfrica

quitawrites I may have found that same market in 2003. Bought fabulous copper bangles that were stolen a few yrs ago :( An arm full of Beautiful bangles.
