Multiple medical professionals told me pain was psychological and I was an “attention seeking teen.” Only when I collapsed in my 20s and had emergency surgery did they diagnose severe endometriosis. queens_berries I admire you @alexachung. I have a great deal of respect for you. It's great to be an influencer, to help shape and polish the artistic side of young and not so young people around the world the way you do. But you bring it to another level: you make the most vulnerable side of non-virtual life - real in this world of individually customized fiction, sending a very important message: I'm not resistant to reality, I'm one of you. And you make it feel like a fairy tale, for everyone. That's what makes you extraordinary.

ellawillowandus Diagnosed in March - ? Miscarried and then couldn’t conceive - I was in agony and a scan determined I had a cyst. I had a laparoscopy to remove the cyst but it had burst at some point with all my pain. Instead they found extensive Endometriosis everywhere - very rare it was in my urinary tract pipe. After 4 months I’m still in absolute agony. My flare ups are so bad I struggle to walk. I never thought at 32 I’d be dealing with this ?

It’s such a relentless debilitating disease, but I really have met some incredible women through support groups like @womenwithendometriosis who help you through those high-pain-days and fatigue-days with words of encouragement, advice on the TMI questions, and funny memes. ?

madeleinevranckx You might be interested by a book ("Comment guérir l'endometriose") written by Julie Saint-Clair who was diagnosed with endometriosis at 16 and who is now (5 years later) almost cured (80%) thanks to natural therapies such as reflexology, osteopathy, meditation a.o.
