I considered Woman Up my soft re-entry to competitive climbing last year. It was the first event I did after a significant chunk of time away, and solidified the idea that maybe I wasn’t finished; I could dive back in and take a shot at World Cups again. It’s set entirely by women, with only women competitors, and all-women clinics. I got to climb and reconnect with friends I hadn’t seen in a long time. It was truly one of the most fun events I’ve done. This weekend I’m going back to the bay for Woman Up 2019! It also happens to be both Bree’s AND my mother’s birthdays... (help meee.)
