Up early pretty much every morning in Lisbon to really explore things before the heat + crowds. We only had about 2 and a half days and I’m realizing Portugal is a place I could spend a lot more time in. We loved Lisbon, and I know Porto was recommended to visit - but where else in Portugal would you recommend to come back and see?

raquelagdsilva Algarve in Portugal is the ultimate summer holidays destiny. If you ever go there, I would recomend Tavira. It's a small sunny city, near the "octupus capital" (Santa Luzia), where you should definitely go for dinner (I wo recomend Polvo & Companhia)

mssandeman Porto is a great destination, Sintra is a must-see and Óbidos is the loveliest medieval town. But definitely check Azores. I visited last summer and fell in love instantly.

ipipa The Azores islands? and the coastline of Alentejo (Costa Vicentina - between Lisbon and the Algarve). Porto and the Douro valley are also beautiful regions :)

brietoujours I was just in Spain, I want to go to Portugal. I wish I could recommend stuff. Waking up early and exploring the city before the heat is a good idea.
