I’ve been getting increasingly homesick lately. LA is tough. Being surrounded by all this madness out here is exciting sometimes, but it’s mostly just draining. The entertainment industry is very fickle.
I get this way every 6 months or so, where I feel really burned out and sad. It feels like my heart literally ejects itself from my body, gets on a flight back home, and waits for the rest of me to follow it. I feel like I’m on autopilot mode.
Im almost at the finish line with the projects I’ve been working on, though. A few more weeks and then I can breathe :)
I need some east coast sunshine and thunderstorms and humidity, and a little space to let my wiggles out 🎉

Same! When I moved to LA 10 years ago I had ALL.THE.DREAMS in my eyes. Two years later I was driving back across country back to Brevard. People who live in Brevard that have never been to LA can’t understand it. And my friends in LA who have never been to Brevard can’t understand it. But for all the reasons you stated, and me not liking how the visual effects industry is being run, it made swallowing all those hopes & dreams a bit easier. Still not where I want to be, but until that can’t-turn-down opportunity comes along, it’s tough to let go of all that we have here. “Small town” or not. ✌🏼😎 Just feel blessed you can split your time between the two. No one should have to go that long without a massively beautiful afternoon thunderstorm! 😉

This weekend when it’s 100+ and humid as death I’ll catch some of that wonderful humidity in a bottle and mail it to ya? I get it though, living in a new and exciting place is just that, but there’s just something different and special about the place and the people we know as ?.

I get this way too. I miss the Florida waters and sunshine every now and then, and when I go back to visit it's like a breath of fresh air compared to the craziness of LA. You're not alone ?

I went out to Arizona earlier this month. They say it's a dry heat and its better than here in Florida. I disagree strongly. Give me my humidity. As long as I have my beach

Cali is nice and all, but nothing beats the solid wall of hot, humid air. 😂 keep your head up and you'll be back home before you know it. 🙂🙂🤘🤘💖

Come down to San Diego! You’ll love it. We go yachting on the weekends, wakeboard in the bay and surf when it’s good. Plus the ppl are amazing! 💯🔥
