This is heartbreaking! The Justice Department officially decided this morning that they will not charge the police officer who choked #EricGarner to death in an illegal chokehold in 2014. Five years later and still no justice. Sending Love and Light to Eric Garner's family and friends on what must be a painful and traumatic day. My heart breaks for Eric and his loved ones. nickmarocola Would everyone be fighting against this if Eric Gartner was any other color? I guess the fact that the family got awarded millions from the city wasn't good enough? No one brings up the fact that the sergeant that ordered the take down and arrest was black. Everyone seems to disregard that of the fact the Eric Gardner had a wrap sheet a half mile long. Also, the fact the the take down method was administered.for about 7 seconds. He said he couldn't breathe because he was morbidly obese as well as an asthmatic.

dreajoofficial What also makes this sadder is that the department of Justice/FBI already knew what they were going to do 5 years ago. They waited until “the statute of limitations” was up to pass the news on to the rest of the world. What I can’t understand is there is no statute of limitations on regular people who commit murder so why would it be for a police officer committing murder!?

raqueleanes This is bullshit and they wonder why people end up killing cops!! I'm Not saying all cops are bad because they arent it's the bad ones that make it really hard to trust them all. This is a damn shame that so many officers get away with murder!! So sad RIP ?? to the family in this time of hurt and disappointment and mourning all over again!!!

swhavers That entire administration/ justice department is full of corruption and hate! Barr is an extension of 45 which is nothing but hate. I wish President Obama and his administration could have prosecuted this prick. Sending prayers to the Garner family. My heart is broken for them?????

d_money15__ I wasnt there. If I dont see it with my own eyes I dont know the situation....death is wrong but what lead to that. Did he use all his force to escape and was aggressive. I find it wrong to speak on things without seeing it yourself. And if theres a vid I clearly have not seen it
