At the @edenprojectcornwall today, The Duchess of Cornwall attended a Big Lunch celebration with members of the community and supporters who had come together to mark the 10th anniversary of The Big Lunch. 🍰🎉 Since 2009, this charity initiative has encouraged people to spend time with their neighbours for a few hours of friendship and fun every June. It aims to create happier and healthier communities where people know one another.
The Duchess is Patron of The Big Lunch, and congratulated them, saying: “A very Happy birthday...onwards and upwards!”

north7550 This post is about a wonderful project very relevant in today’s world. Prince Charles and the Duchess Camilla’s trip to Cornwall shines a light on this project as well as many others. Instead of reading positive comments about these things we are bombarded by comments about a marriage which ended well over 20yrs ago. Come on people this is getting beyond annoying. It is disrespectful and distasteful!

eckankar11 Her hats are the most beautiful out of all the royals. The feathered one she wore for her wedding to Prince Charles was so stunning that I still think about it. I like her and am glad she was able to be with the prince. It cannot have been easy. I was afraid there for a while that she would be tarred and feathered and run out of town on the rails.

vnoble310 Although I am an American, I absolutely adore The Duchess of Cornwall. She and The Prince of Wales seem to be very personable and genuinely compassionate. They also look as though they have a wonderful sense of humor.
