alynrosas clearly all the haters of scarlett johansson here commenting are just jealous and angry at her bcoz their favorite actress can't be as a great actress like scarlett! plus she can play any role its called acting of course a director will give her a character she's going to play that's what acting is do! you play role that was given to you by a director! you guys don't even know anything about acting! you just watch and critize her for anything she didn't do! You guys accept a black actress playing ariel in the new live action movie but you bullshits can't accept a role that was given to her you ask for another actress to play! saying she can't act, she's overrated and anything you guys don't even watch a single solo movie that she did!

illypopb She ain’t completely wrong. Years ago poc/gay actors complained that they were being typecasted. Nowadays, those same actors want to go back to that? For obvious reasons a white actor is never going to play a black slave like a black actor is never going to play certain other roles. The point of equality should be that a trans woman can play the role of a womani or a gay person can play a hetero role. You’re doing the politically correct thing completely wrong by being excessive imho.
