Triangular section. For a thicker fringe, go farther back the head. For a thinner fringe, go closer to the hairline.

Cut it to the desired overall length.

Step 2️⃣
Cut a guide for the desired shortest length.

#HairTip - Allow for extra length for refinement and knowing hair will appear shorter after styling.

Step 3️⃣
Connect the dots. Cut a line connecting the short piece to the length. Do this while lifting the hair up. Lifting the hair up will create layers (give texture). If you don’t want layers/texture, keep the hair down or at a lower elevation.
