sherrilynb I totally understand the whole not giving advice unless it’s asked for kinda thing, but just saying a pediatrician can’t diagnose a speech or language disorder & often feel like they can because they’re a doctor. This causes parents to believe that nothing is wrong & then they miss out on valuable time that their child could’ve been receiving services in early intervention!

saragildart What ever happened to minding your own business? Leave others alone especially their kids and just move on with your day! Autistic or not she’s adorable, her family loves her with all their heart-that’s all that should matter. Move on.

bethany_88 It’s sad people are so quick to diagnose a child of autism when they haven’t even examined a child and is just judging off of what they see. It disgust me! They can’t even enjoy a family picture!

crystal_mahan Hmm, I have the opposite opinion. My son has autism... several@of my friends saw the signs and didn’t say anything to me! I would’ve loved that gentle nudge as a 1st time mom!!
