Rogelberg, a professor of organizational science, management and psychology, has some advice on how to lead meetings that truly engage and inspire the group: 1. Keep things small. Eliminate anyone there “just to listen” and weed out all the non-essential people. 2. Mix up the length. Aim for 20 or 30-minute meetings with clear agendas and goals. 3. dammdbrand @ted I don't necessarily agree with eliminating anyone there "just to listen" because it can empower someone with information for future projects, information from meeting can be leveraged for current projects or it could simply be a learning experience. Walking meetings sound interesting for sure.
