It turns out he just loved using the coffee machine, we don’t have things like this in Tonga. It’s a special experience for him. Sione has a young 1 yr old boy and there was something inspiring to me in seeing his fascination with something I take for granted. I wanted to get Sione something special before he leaves back to Tonga, perhaps a $100 coffee machine. After speaking to the coach I found that the 8kg of Kava the Taekwondo team brought over to sell to get them some Pocket money only got enough to cover the cost of the Kava and no more. We decided that my paypal fundraising page for my Olympic bid will be used to give the team a little something special. For the next 48 hrs if anyone wants to donate a few dollars to help give these guys a little pocket money to get something for their families then monies will be passed on to them.
