The Tochigi leather is one of the world's few tanners continues to use only natural vegetable tannin.

Tannins are chemicals used by Tanners to prevent the disintegration of the leather collagen fibres. In #knotsg case, we use high quality tannin 'Mimosa' and this methodology has been used for the last 70 years by generations.
