Hi Megan Rapinoe, I didnt know you before this women soccer cup final. After your marvelous winning and those 2 goals i got to know about you. Then i read articles, journals, papers, magazine about you. I strongly support the issues that you have raised and opposed. For me national anthem and national flag signifies a countries history, bravery, sacrifices of our older who gave up their present and future for our better present and tomorrows. We must be a good human being first and then a good citizen as National anthem and national flag also signifies the people who we are today. The entire world was not better place for everyone even in past or in present. There are so much unequalities. We are divided by race,by colours,by religions,by ethnicities, by gender and so many rubbish things which are not neccessary to live on this green planet. We call us human but we are the cruel animals. And being a women is much more difficult even in this 21st century. I belong to a country where all worship women power in the form of goddesses and their clay idols but when a female child born even today most of the families mourn. I am from rhat country where 'fair and lovely' fairness creame is the hot seller product in the market. In my country the male Cricket player get 10-15 times higher salary then his female counterpart. We play,we grow,we build up nation,we become mother and after that we have to fight for our dignity. I support you gesture of kneel down during enthem because this world is still sleeping and we need blast to awake them. I am proud of you for what you are. A big hug for you from India.

@lacrosse.516 Sports is a catharsis and in the case of Nelson Mandela bringing SA together shows historically how important sports is for a country. In my day the US hockey team in the Olympics was a huge lift to the country. “Going through hell” your choice! Dealing with a girl literally pulling her hair out, who is pregnant and isn’t sure if the father is her boyfriend, uncle or father, that’s hell and not her choice. Having also dealt with a boy with a dent in his head from his father hitting him in the head with a chair, that’s hell and not his choice. There’s is more to life then taking lives, my choice my hell. The bubble you are unaware of while defending the rights of others, like free speech, is that out beloved country service members can’t choose who we can and can’t die for. The only thing stupid here is saying for whom you die for. BTW, class act to say my son is irrelevant. My ignorance, ? read Max Weber and what the iron cage means that you are in. Freedom of speech is freedom. #forthoseiloveiwillsacrifice

@lacrosse.516 Your Ego seems strong but there is more to life then taking lives. It’s not always about the military. “Why, of course, the people don’t want war. Why would some poor slob on a farm want to risk his life in a war when the best that he can get out of it is to come back to his farm in one piece. Naturally, the common people don’t want war; neither in Russia nor in England nor in America, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy or a fascist dictatorship or a Parliament or a Communist dictatorship…
Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country.”
– Hermann Goering

Everyone in here saying she’s a “disgrace” to the US just because she kneeled or didn’t want to meet the president. Here’s something to think about being a citizen and standing for this flag of red white and blue means that you love you’re country but not unconditionally, it means that you care about it enough to make it better. She’s an amazing woman and she’s making so many people feel better about themselves so can’t you, all of you just congratulate her on scoring the winning goal and for standing her ground against the blatantly sexist so called “patriots”. Let her have her moment

@disiiker I’ll never understand the “if you don’t like the government, leave” rhetoric. Why didn’t trump leave America when Obama was president? You don’t leave your country if you’re unhappy with it, patriots stay to help it. People aren’t leaving because it’s their home and their country. Also, for all your “leave” rhetoric, can I ask what you’re thoughts are on those who have left their country fleeing violence and are asking to live in the states now? Remember, if someone leaves they have to go somewhere...

Why is everyone tripping the us mens national team is ass. Besides Pulisic y’all are bad. To be totally honest the women’s team could beat the mens team. Now i support “football” what its actually called btw. And pol who think that the “US Mens National Football (aka soccer ?♂️?♂️) Team” is better than there women’s team is on some good stuff??. No hate just my opinion so please don’t @ me and talk nonsense and expect me to fight you. You have your opinion and I have mine. Good day everyone.
