Can we just take a moment to enjoy this haberdashery? I went ribbon shopping with @bonnierbooks_uk at @vvrouleaux and omg it was such a JOY. If you’re ever in London, I thoroughly recommend it, even if you just buy one piece to wrap a gift!

I left with ribbon for the books and then a few pieces to use in the girls hair and I just felt so uplifted from the experience. Isn’t it funny what simple little things can do for you?

Now I have the urge to create a ribbon stash like my Granny Gill had and be a mad old lady with cats and fabric scraps 🥰✨💪🏻

Every September just before the new school year started, my sister and I would go to our town's little indoor market which had a haberdashery - we were allowed to choose new ribbons for our hair. Looking through all of the colours and trims was such a treat. It still makes me smile. Something so simple yet so lovely. ? x
