Feeling cheeky? The Red-cheeked Cordon-bleu (Uraeginthus bengalus) is! Both males and females come in shades of blue and brown, but only adult males have red patches on their cheeks. The bird is native to sub-Saharan Africa and inhabits open and arid lands such as savannas, bush, and grasslands. It spends much of its time hopping about, foraging for seeds or grains in the daylight.
