What fish has a large head, powerful jaws, and an eel-like body? Meet the wolffish. It hides among rocks, surrounded by the broken shells of its prey, which it crushes with plates of massive molar teeth. These teeth wear down quickly from constant grinding and are replaced annually, apparently forcing the wolffish to fast for months until the new teeth come in. Spot the wolffish in the Museum’s Hall of Ocean Life!
