The amount of planes over Europe, the United stares and Mexico right now... Think of the amount of fuel and carbon in our atmosphere in one day. It’s mind blowing isn’t it. It was hard for me to imagine how much pollution is up there every second of every day. I’m a part of it too... What do we do? What is the solution? We can draw this carbon down with agriculture. I promise you there is an answer. It’s time to start engaging. When our farming practices change our temperatures will go down. More information to come

gracieallgood4 If we stop using planes, the people who fly those will loose their jobs. Most of those people will depend on the government to supply their money. When they do start looking for jobs, that’s a lot of jobs that need to be filled. I am all about decreasing pollution but maybe we should start with something smaller, things we really don’t need. Something we just want. Humans have become really dependent on some of theses things over the years ( including me ) I think we should start with little things. Sorry for the paragraph

latvianrose I was an jet engine mechanic before becoming an IT in the Navy and the drop tanks (fuel tanks on the bottom of a jet that is carried for extra fuel during flight) are humongous and get bigger with certain aircraft. It’s nuts how much fuel one tank can carry. Having two extra in the air does take a toll. I’m with somerhalderfactss partly, but I agree with you whole heartedly. It would be amazing to see the military convert to more environmental friendly ways to fuel our jets, ships, subs, etc.

mrsj0lly I live in Ohio on the outskirts of the Appalachians, unfortunately what used to be a "poor man's job" is now a " rich mans hobby". Most of the youth in our rural towns would love nothing more to continue on with farming! However the cost to obtain land alone is insane, let alone the rising costs in market prices, feed, ect. I have seen many family farms be sold off and made into housing lots. I know with the heavy amounts of rain we are dealing with, the corn yield will be late and low.

laura.agathe No.... It's absolutly not the priority! Fashion brands and agriculture are the real problem ! Planes are even not responsable of 2% of the pollution. Most of people take the plane once or twice a year when they can save money to travel! Billions of people will never take a plane in their life. So please stop making people feel guilty to travel, it will only leads to create more taxes for the travellers when the real responsability goes to the companies.
