Imagine slow-motion fireworks that started exploding 170 years ago and are still continuing. 🎆 🎆 🎆
This type of firework is not launched into Earth's atmosphere, but rather into space by a doomed super-massive star, called Eta Carinae. In this view from our @NASAHubble Space Telescope, which includes ultraviolet light, we see the star's hot, expanding gases glowing in red, white and blue – fitting for the #FourthofJuly!

Why we can see the expansion thru the hubble instead just watching a small point if we are traveling to a superspeed. What is the hubble speed and earth speed again? Hubble should super accelerate in one point. And deaccelerate to dont miss any distance with earth.or you gonna tell me the gravitational field keeps the hubble close to earth. If is that why the astronauts in their "space walks" attach them selfs to the shuffle?

I wish we were traveling through space with ease I always thought as a kid we've already be there it's too bad sooner or later we will grow up so that we can go into the stars and see these things for ourselves firsthand I won't see it in my lifetime but I think my grandson and his and maybe they will straighten themselves out and look to travel the stars

This is so amazing that we actually have the craft to go in to space and discover new worlds it’s crazy to me that we are that smart to crate a craft that is seeld tite also that can provide food water and a sleeping area and that you can press won button and the all the gravity goes away than press it again then it’s back

NASA uses way more complicated software and editing techniques than photoshop lol. They have to combine petabytes of data to produce and image like this, it’s not as simple as zooming in and snapping a picture

Eta alpha is totally AWESOME in it's massive weigth, how it shine (ultraviolet laser emission), and low surface gravity, that make it shakes like a realy big and hot moma) It's a real superstar!
