F.E.A.R. False Evidence Appearing Real
‘On God I lean, rely, and confidently put my trust; I will not fear.’ Psalm 56:4 AMPC
David said, ‘On God I lean, rely, and confidently put my trust; I will not fear. What can man, who is flesh, do to me?’ And David should know, because God enabled him to defeat a lion, a bear, and a giant.
The story is told about the man who approached a farmhouse and every few metres he noticed signs that read, ‘Beware of Dog’. When he finally reached the farmhouse, he discovered the dog was a tiny puppy ‘You mean to tell me that little dog keeps people away?’ he asked.
The farmer smiled and said, ‘No, but the signs do!’ Fear roars like a lion, but much of the time when we confront it, it’s just like a tiny puppy
The truth is, you can face anything when you know God has promised: ‘For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, “Fear not, I am the one who helps you.”’ (Isaiah 41:13 ESV) So instead of fearing the worst, start believing God for the best.
And you do that by personalising His promises: I will not fear because God is with me, I will not be dismayed for He is my God; He will strengthen me and help me, and uphold me with His righteous right hand. (based on Isaiah 41:10) I know that in all things, no matter how it seems on the surface, God is working for my good because I love Him and because I am called by Him for His purposes (based on Romans 8:28).
Don’t let fear get the upper hand. Instead of giving in to it, stand on the Word of God and believe He’s going to bring you through your circumstances and make you stronger. ???????????

@fancy.spacedust Refraction at a flat/straight Surface will bend all the Light, too, but will not invert the Image - that's right - but Refraction at a convex Surface ( for Light passing the Surface from Air to Water, in the Case of the floating Water Bubble, which in Fact is shaped convex ) and also Refraction at a concave Surface ( for Light passing the Surface from Water to Air ) will invert the Image, as long as You choose the right Range of Distances between the Camera and the Bubble as well as between the Bubble and ( in this Case ) the Face. It still is just Refraction, no Reflection, which makes this Effect happen. You only need to find the right Distances, too, 'cause refracted Light will converge and show a non-inverted Image between a convex Lens ( which the Bubble is ) and its focal Point, going right through the Focus of the Lens ( where the Image would become just a bright Point ) and then diverge past that Point, showing an inverted Image. As You see, You're only partly right, under specific Circumstances, which i was assuming in the first Place. I was not wrong at all. I never talked about a Fish Tank or just a Window made of flat Glass. I talked about a convex Water Bubble, which in Fact is some Sort of a Lens.

@fancy.spacedust No Ray of Light does bend or change its Direction at the focal Point of any Lens, except for the possible Occurence, that there's a reflective or refractive Surface exactly in that Place. Refraction takes Place at the Surface of the Water Bubble. Rays of Light are being bent there. While some Rays ( parallel ones reaching the Bubble's Surface coming from outside the Bubble ) are being bent towards the focal Point, they're bent in THAT Spot to about half the Extent to actually aim at the focal Point. They'll again being bent, when they reach the Bubble's Surface again, on the other Side of the Bubble, leaving the Bubble. From then on the former parallel Rays are bent so far, that they aim at the focal Point, meeting there and going on to move into the same Direction as they did since they left the Bubble.

@fancy.spacedust Now, You'd also have to think about the Fact, that this Water Bubble is a Lens but in the Shape of an imperfect ( due to several other ( rather mechanical ) physical Effects shaping it. A "normal" Lens comes in the Shape of a normal Lens, not as a Sphere and even more true not as a distorted Sphere, what the Water Bubble is. While a "normal" Lens does in Fact have exactly 2 focal Points ( one in Front of the Lens and another behind the Lens, at the same Distance from the Middle of the Lens as the first focal Point ), a perfect Sphere as well as a distorted Sphere does have an unlimited Number of focal Points.

@iliteritbear Ok lets say NASA is lying. You can still figure out easily that the Earth is not flat. Here are a few simple facts that are easy to observe with your own eyes. How do you explain the 4 seasons on FE? How do you explain the 24 hour daylight that happens in the Northern Hemisphere/the 24 hour darkness in Antarctica on a FE? Why does the Moon appear upside down in South America, Africa, Australia, & New Zealand? How would any of these be possible on a Flatearth?
