mikesharie I always read the directions while my husband's trying to just put it together so if he does something wrong I can catch him and tell him. We're a pretty good team for the most part. Unless frustration sets in then we usually have to abort the mission and resume later. But he's a gifted mechanic by nature so he's does pretty good. ?

savagegirl490 Depends on what the product is, and your definition of read...easy things, don't even look at them. Most more step things, I kind of sort of just glance at the pictures. Typically only actually read when I can't figure out what the heck the picture is showing.

connie.hess52 I am the one who reads the directions for everything. And I never leave the house without knowing the directions to where I am going. It's so much easier that way.

thechamberlainconspiracy I used to hate reading the directions, but then I married a technical writer, and realized it’s someone’s entire job to write them, so now I read them. :)

ladeevon9 My father found out I was in the lower level reading group. I then became his reader. Newspapers, maps, Christmas assembly reader graduated to apprentice.
