judit_teller I do hope that the link I copied below that is related to Samsung being sued for advertising their phones being waterproof when they are actually not, is also going to hit Apple, because they are doing exactly the same. Samsung sued over water-resistant phone claims https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-48866148 On the Keynote event in Sep 2018 Apple has showed a video footage that the iPhone XS Max is waterproof up to 30mins down to 2 meters. My phone broke a few weeks ago due to water damage because the phone was in a 30cm deep water for 10 mins. The Apple technician claimed that there is no warranty on the phone for this case and I had to pay for a replacement phone. Unfortunately I still cannot get my head around why my phone had a water damage when the phone is shown during the launch event that it was at the bottom of a swimming pool inside water ie waterproof. The whole situation was rather inconvenient at the Apple store and very disappointing how Apple reacted to my problem. I hope Apple will realise that there is something wrong with the above.

ahmed_elzeiny This is fake, Iphone XS Max is not water resistant. My device IPhone xs Max 256 GB is broken because there was just a contact with water & Apple is refusing to replace it with a new one, they are asking me to pay About 600 Euros for repair, After only 7 months, the device is broken.
