Posted @withrepost • @frankleeruggles I just finished three days of book signings in Grand Canyon National Park. Inevitably people always ask me what my favorite photograph in the book is. They are often surprised to find out that it is this one.
I feel like this photograph is a metaphor for my life, hiding behind 5 blades of grass to get a photograph of a giant brown bear that could easily kill me. When I realized how absurd the situation was oh, I decided to focus on the grass instead of the bear.
Plus, I also think it just looks pretty cool
