July is finally here!
As the sunny days continue, many new events are popping up!
This month’s flower is Calla Lily. It is said to have originated from the Greek word ”Karos” which mean beautiful. Some say that its large white-colored spathe resembles the collar of nun’s. In South Africa, some call it ”Varkoor” which means ’Pig’s Ear’. In many English-speaking countries, it is known as Calla Lily because it is white like a lily.
In flower language, it has many definitions, such as ”beauty”, ”clean” and ”the quietness of the shrine maiden”. Keep it cool and fresh like the Calla Lily this hot summer!
