Here's some reference of my stage time in my 90’s Ford Escort RS Cossie V2 racecar. The suspension on my Cossie is upgraded but I still have a 90’s race engine. And this was the first time we had run it on tarmac. So, this stage run offers a great opportunity to compare times of this good/clean stage time with other racecars that were competing. So...

Sam Moffet, the winner of this stage - and the winner of the race - was 50 seconds faster on this stage, or 2.6 second per kilometer. He was in a Ford Fiesta WRC car.

Damian Tourish, the fastest 70’s Ford Mk2 driver on that stage - and fastest of the national championship drivers - was 18 seconds faster, or roughly 1 second per kilometer.

Also, I was 3.5 seconds faster than Irish rally legend and 3-time winner of this rally, Eugene Donnelly, in his modern R5 car. Thanks Eugene for letting me beat you on this one! Ha.
