We are almost 2 weeks away from our 5th South Sudan unite 🇸🇸. Every year we have increased in numbers and strength, with more ideas. @southsudanunite we welcome all. YOU NEED TO KNOW THIS ABOUT @southsudanunite
1) it's amazing to connect with people who passionately want to make a difference. 2) Connecting with people who feel so far away from home and want to celebrate their culture. 3) Enjoying the weekend through music and culture, which is something we don’t get to do very often. 4) Be a part of a movement that will make a positive impact in the future for our homeland. —— Five years ago I wanted to create an event that brings my people together to discuss important issues while celebrating our culture, the past four events have brought me closer to a lot of Sudo communities and I’ve been able to connect with many people that I can now call friends. BE A PART OF THIS. Come join us, unity is a must. 🙏🏿 There is beauty and power in unity. We must be united in heart and mind. One world, one people. 🇸🇸 Junub ✊🏿

In the words of President Kennedy “ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.” We have great speakers in SS who sweet talk our citizens all that time claiming to be leaders with no tangible results. You’re truly leading your people giving back to your people/country by example. I wonder why the event wasn’t set up to coincide with the 9th July? gloria_oyway @luoldeng9 sure. I have two closing on 7/19, but 7/20-21 is good for me. Please have who ever is in charge of communication to contact me and I can put things together to bring with me. Anything to encourage our generation to be and do better for the betterment of our situation, I am in.
