John Oliver has had enough of President Donald Trump’s chummy relationships with authoritarian leaders. The president’s Sunday rendezvous in the DMZ with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un was the last straw for the comedian on “Last Week Tonight.” The host showed a clip of Trump telling Kim, “It was an honor that you asked me to step over that line and I was proud to step over the line. I thought you might do that. I wasn’t sure but I was ready to do it, and I want to thank you.” “Oh, that’s actually nice,” Oliver cracked. “So Trump wanted to step over the line, was ready to do it, but waited until he received affirmative consent. Trump has 5 (education, transportation, homeland security, and two others with Cabinet rank) Obama had 8 (state, homeland security, labor, health and human services, plus four others with cabinet rank) I see you’re reading the Washington Examiner, which carefully selected timelines in which to compare the presidents to make it seem as though Trump appointed more. It’s true, at the beginning of their Presidency’s Trump had appointed more top senior advisors, and if he continues to appoint more women he could very well be the president with the most women in senior positions. That aside, your claim was that Trump appointed more women to his administration than all others, not just top advisors. Both claims are false, but Trump is definitely closer to others in terms of appointing female top senior advisors.

@jeronimoarrublao it’s literally not though. But since I doubt you’ll take that claim at face value go look up it up. And i don’t mean go look it up on the RNC’s website or take Lara Trump’s word for it. I mean you, yourself, go count the number of women in each administration. If you’re too lazy though, the RNC also said they intentionally did not say he appointed more women than “ALL other administrations” because they knew that would be false. He HAS appointed more women than “other administrations”. Lmao ??♂️

@pclifton1847 ummm, it is not that simple. Trump is doing immoral things. He is spreading hate and lies. He has single handedly dumbed down this country. Why? Because of greed and self interest. If you think this is remotely okay then you are not worth my time. We need intellectuals back in the White House instead of a malignant narcissist who is only out to serve his needs/ego.

@breakerofchains219 I agree on the wrong response part and the part about more intellectuals but John Oliver is a talk show host and I think his show is a bunch of garbage. Trump used the same tactics I won’t deny that but Trump is also doing everything’s said he would and you guys are folding like chairs the second he threatens your party.
