@playfactory 🗣 ⚠️ EL TORO UPDATE ⚠️
So here’s the very latest developments with the El Toro “Preventative Obstacle” situation: Security is on guard 24/7 and isn’t letting people near, but @judeistidwell managed to get close enough for a few shots of the bottom before getting kicked out. We did speak with a worker and got some more intel. As you can see, the landing at the bottom doesn’t look bad at all, and there is no poles at the bottom. The ground has grooves kinda like rumble strips on the freeway. But don’t get excited with bondo dreams just yet, because there’s definitely poles going in up top as well as a new development.. a gate. We’re not sure what “gate” really means, but I’m assuming it’s something they are possibly planning on closing and locking after hours? Maybe like those metal things in parking lot entrances? I don’t know, but honestly it at this point it sounds more hackable than poles at the bottom. It’s indicating of a possibility of being skatable somehow if there’s room between poles and the gates are open. They also revealed a new “No Skateboards, or bikes, allowed on campus” policy. Which I’m not sure how they plan on regulating after hours. Kinda seems like the whole “no skateboarding down el toro” policy. I mean, so the kids can’t bring em on campus doing school?? I mean how many kids were chucking back lips lunchtime anyway? Lol. So that’s it for now. It’s actually slightly more promising than it had been, but maybe there’s a lot more insane “preventative obstacles” that we don’t know about yet. Snake pit perhaps? Blow darts from the lockers in the runway? I hope at least the gate is electric. That would be cool. #eltoro #playfactory

garrettprudoehl I'm past the age of caring about this. Seems like you all are wasting time thinking about 20 stairs you'd never see or attempt even if you did. All the useless things they are doing to the stairs is also getting far too much attention.
