becca_aloha Unfortunately these big record companies take advantage of young, inexperienced musicians. The money, is in owning the masters, and if you go into a contract without a good lawyer and understanding the ins and outs of the music business you’re screwed, and the owners of the labels know it. The music business is one of the dirtiest business out there, I know first hand.
