I’m surprised at the majority of comments made by those defending the person who drove off with a police officer hanging on to his vehicle. Most people with common sense would listen to the officer, but when your bidding something illegal the situation will always escalate. I also love how to race card is being thrown around, if that’s your defense and default for every situation you cannot properly defend because of the lack of true judgment other than bias views created by a over abused blinding of hate for other races besides your own. Then by all means, keep showing your ignorance against change. He broke the law, he was pulled over. A guilty person will always run, and when are people going to realize most of the negative comments against the police officer on this clip. Have developed from people from people from other countries that have a Instagram account and just love to stir up a good fire...and before you make some rather interesting negative comments my direction, I’m not black or white. What I see is hate from all sides modified by those who like to start a fire and walk away from it.

The officer was professional and spoke to the driver with respect If the driver simply followed instructions, it would not have escalated. The officer did nothing wrong here. If the driver had simply turned off the car and put his hands up, it never would have escalated the way it did. There was a body cam and dash cam. The driver reached out of the car and was grabbing at the officer. Then took off with the officer on the car TWICE, he would have been justified in shooting him. The officer’s life was in jeopardy. He showed incredible restraint and it’s amazing that he didn’t shoot this driver. I think people forget the risk an officer takes doing their job, approaching a car and driver they know nothing about. I can’t imagine that level of anxiety and stress when the driver stops cooperating and becomes erratic. This should be a lesson, get combative and suffer the consequences, you deserve it, regardless of race. This guy is lucky he only landed himself in jail.

This guy handles the situation so poorly. First he should have just had the right windows in the first place (I do agree that it’s dumb that that’s why he was stopped). Second just respectively follow the officers instructions. Third, if he calls u out on something, he should try to prove his innocence, pulling away only makes him look guilty. The fact that people are saying that the cop saw him because he’s black is mindbogoling. How could the office see he was black, it’s hard enough to tell from the side of a moving car what color skin they are, and it doesn’t make it easier to tell when he’s got tinted windows. The officer only escalated the situation because the guy tried running him over. Officers in America can be really cruel to African Americans in this country but it’s crazy that it’s gotten to a point that people defend a person (based on race) even if they are in the wrong.

Ok, this cop, doing his job correctly. Took his gun out a bit too early but still did not pull the trigger to harm the driver. You could tell by the quavering his voice that he really didn’t want to. In this situation, the black driver wasn’t right. I know what is right and wrong. And this black guy was wrong. I thought every cop shoots and harm black people. Looks like this video proved me wrong. I guess there is a tad bit of faith for humanity left within the small amount of good people ?

1. Any stop they make could possibly turn into an arrest. They don't know who the driver is, they may have warrants so the risk is always there. 2. He didn't pull out the gun from the start until he refused to turn off the ignition, the vehicle is a weapon so the driver was armed with that. 3. He didn't get executed, did you see an execution? Stick to what you see and not what you imagine.

First off he definitely shouldn’t have drove off. The way I see it, as an adult, all information is not public information and cops are just other random public people. It’s non of the officers got damn business what he thought he smelled. He pulled him over for one reason, finish that. Who in their right mind would answer the affirmative to an incriminating question?
