CONTRACTION YOUTUBE VIDEO COMMENT: on a scale of 1-10 on labor pains....well (here comes the hate from other mothers) I went in at 39 weeks for a planned c-section at 5:30am. While hooked up to the machine before my time at 7:30am I was in hard active labor and had zero negative idea. I only knew when the nurse came in and asked if I needed something for my massive contractions. I was sitting in the bed mad about nothing being on tv. When I looked at the monitor the level of spikes where the contractions were, were actually mind blowing. I had no idea. Now pregnant with my second I’m making sure we check extra for signs of labor early because I’m not sure I’ll feel it. I hope I do because it’s actually important but nope. Didn’t feel any labor pains with my first.

Kidney stone pain is said to be similar to labor contractions. I've had three rounds of kidney stones in my lifetime. I wouldn't wish that pain on my worst enemy. My suggestion, @ShawnJohnson, if your doctor offers an epidural... Please say yes. I had them during my knee replacement surgeries. For the second one, they did a femoral block, too. I felt NOTHING for over 16 hours. When they, both, wore off... It's like nothing I've ever felt before. Two days after the second surgery, I had a massive heart attack. It's years later, and I'm STILL here. No need for bypass surgery, thanks be to God! Stay healthy. God bless the three of you!

Okay as far as the simulator. Yes Shawn it hurts every where!!! Andrew you didn’t experience back labor. Much more uncomfortable. Oh and if baby should lay on your Sciatic nerve while in the womb that hurts so bad you almost forget how to breathe. Shawn I recommend keeping a wash cloth nearby. Especially when you get close to pushing, while pushing biting down on something helps. I almost bit my hubbys hand lol. It’s an experience that’s for sure. All that pain for the biggest reward all worth it! Wishing the three of you the smoothest delivery. The best meet and greet of your lives. I adore the two of you. God bless!

Just saw the labor simulator video and your laugh is awesome. He didn’t even get it good. Contractions get more intense the more you labor some come quickly as you dilate. Mine got to 2 mins and lasted 1 and a half. Then then next one at 6cm. Glad your working out to help with labor being fit and active helps so much. My labor was quick and easy because of that. Andrew sorry bud you didn’t last but now you know what your wife will endure. Lol love you both!! ❤️❤️❤️

lolololol I just watched your most recent video and I’m dying laughing ? remind Mr ‘it can’t be that bad’ that worse than what he felt we feel for hours and hours and hours and the only way it stops is if we push out a human being out of our tiny little lady parts ? High pain tolerance for men maybe but doesn’t even compare to women’s pain tolerance. That’s measured on a completely different scale ? I can’t stop laughing I’m crying ? you guys are awesome ❤️

Just watched the contraction simulator video! I was dying laughing! I have had two babies epidural free and contractions are no joke! However if you can get in a good head space and find your relaxation technique it’s a lot easier. ALSO the pushing isn’t nearly as bad as the contractions. Once you’re ready to push your body takes over and does it’s thing and you honestly don’t really feel the contractions at all!
