david.ollerenshaw Every generation has a similar cause or similar group which fights for something. Some last and some don’t, some have an impact and some just protest and complain and get nothing done. This seems to be the latest one in this theme. I would hope they learn lessons of past initiatives and proposer where the others failed. Marches, protests and sit-ins get you in the media but having a plan and getting to work on what small effects you want to achieve is a better way in my opinion. Getting the people you want to change on the same side instead of irritating them will lead to amazing results.

There are people of all generations that got to Glastonbury, and who took part in various activities, marches rallies and speeches about everything from global warming to LGBTQ+. If you only read sensationalist stories about the trash the kids the drugs and the hippies then of course you'd have an opinion like that which you feel the need to publicise like fact.
