This is disgusting. Time for the world to wake up. Shame on these “policemen” please repost.

Today peaceful French climate activists and school strikers in Paris were sprayed with teargas. The same day, it was 45,9° in France in JUNE. It shattered the old record of 44,1° (which was set in August 2003).
This is not “the new normal”. This is only the beginning of #ClimateBreakdown and #ClimateEmergency . Watch the video and ask yourself; who is defending who? #fridaysforfuture #schoolstrike4climate #climatestrike #youthforclimate #extinctionrebellion PS. They are now outside the Elysée if you want to join them.

@elliegoulding Hello!
My name is Ronny and I‘m Luke’s Dad. Luke suffers from a rare peculiarity with the name “Progeria”, which means that his body is aging 10 times faster than (y)ours. Therefore, our time together is very limited. In order to make Luke’s short life as beautiful as possible, I quit my job. We hope that with gaining more followers we might be able to draw attention to advertisers, who could help paying the bills. We are not begging for money, only attention!
Additionally, my wife and I hope that Luke’s life will be a little bit easier in the future thanks to his popularity. If people know him and meet him on the streets, they might hopefully not tease him or say that he looks strange.
We would rather hear them say things like “Oh, there’s Luke. I know him from Instagram” instead of hearing mean and hurtful comments.
Luke’s future won’t be an easy one because he will look different than what we would describe as “The Norm”. However, we hope deeply that most of the reactions will be positive and not hurtful.
Would you join us on our journey and mention Luke to your followers
#supportluke ?
Thank you for listening and greetings from Germany. ? ?

@elliegoulding i agree with what they are standing for, but the problem is, paris is siege by yellow jacket for now 32 week ends. They are violent and destroy public institution or museum (Arc de triomphe, prefectures, luxury hotels, shops) and the policemans are mobilised in alert state since there. I'm sure you saw paris as apocalypse town on the news few month ago. IT IS STILL GOING ON... so yeah, take policeman who are stressed and pissed and put pacifist ecologist (wich are knowned for violent action in other country) and yeah... prevention is "better". Yellow jacket were still out yesterday, burning, robbing, destroying stuff. They get more and more creative so, when you are assign to president defense, and those guys come and sit around... that escalated quickly (sorry if i m hard to read, i m french ^^ )

Causing people to not be able to go to their jobs is not peaceful as a protest :/ anything that endangers people in any fashion, is not protest nor peaceful :( the walks are fine, signs are good and petitions are fine. But preventing folks from making an honest living and not contributing to the bs .... that’s damaging ...and causing riots is not cool. I’m all for peaceful protests, but not if it interferes with people trying to make BILLS and get food for their families...yes, it’s awful but if you’re doing something dangerous (aside from women’s rights in the 1900’s and a few other instances) it’s not PEACEFUL.

If you really did care you could also pay attention to what’s going on in Sudan instead of complaining about these small peaceful protests involving pepper spray people are really dying out here and all you can post is complaints over pepper spray ?more than hundreds have died ,the internet has been shutdown and you’re complaining about peaceful protesters being pepper sprayed ?peaceful protestors have been killed in Sudan ?

This is a fraction of a full video. Also, as one who has gotten a facefull of mace in jail, and didnt do anything to deserve it, I wouldnt do a protest with a known outcome of a face full of mace. I mean, ya gotta do what ya gotta do, but mace really really hurts. I personally would not have done something knowing I get maced in the end. That, or I woulda worn some kind of breathing apparatus

Some cops lose the humanity they have left. I've suffered their brutality when they called me crazy and stole collector's items from my apartment, claiming that 'I could get hurt with them'. There are still good agents, but many are cruel and insensitive and know only brute force. Shameful what they did to PACIFIC people.
