My hope is that ‘The Look’ film and the campaign will further inspire us to see beyond what we think we see and #TalkAboutBias to drive empathy and change in behavior @P&G(Procter & Gamble) talkaboutbias.com #talkaboutbias

👁️💕 Was there, unfortunately. I had an experience..I walked into a store one day and was made gravely aware of who I was. I was being FOLLOWED🚶♀️🚶♂️and being STARED 👀 at by what appeared to be Security for the store. So sad. I def spoke on it..but, was told they just wanted to make sure I found everything I needed🙄. RIGHT😒. Though I'm a little late in commenting, I still wanted my voice to be heard👂🏽. Perhaps, if more of us talk about it ..more will get done about it💕🌸🦋🌻🙏🏽🕊️♥️.

It’s looks like these that hurt but also inspire me to be a better father, son, nephew, husband, etc. Racism is a taught behavior. That’s why it’s so important to teach our children to recognize it when they see it and to show love to everyone. Thank you @hillharper for sharing. I have followed your career for years and I appreciate you for being an example of humanity for not just the youth but for all of us. God bless you my brother and keep up the great work.

Acknowledging and talking about bias are needed. So is healing individually and collectively so we can have conversations and impact social injustices. My Grandmother's Hands by @resmaamenakem is an excellent book to read. Restorative yoga and meditation are practices to release the daily impact of negativity and stress. It starts with each of us on an individual level to do our own internal work.

?? This is why I always speak to black people when i walk by. Took my kid to his first HBCU graduation last May. Very smart. Excellent grades at a PWI. I asked him - do you feel “at risk?” He said no. “It feels like a family reunion and the girls were pretty.” ? I told him some would have you believe our environments are not safe and we are not smart. You clearly see, that is a lie.

That awesome , it is troubling to know even after all these years that people feel like just by the color of my skin or our skin that we are not intelligent we're not successful. My question to you is as a black male actor do these same kind of things happen to you the reactions or because who you are you treated with more respect?

Interesting how people react to me in China. Foreigners are few where we live so we get stared at a lot. With our difference and height makes some people fear us and move away from us whilst others just stare or take photos of us. We are all human at the end of the day. We all want to be loved, valued, respected and supported.
