If you missed the last 2 - I’m a traveling, landscape photographer who has a passion for capturing moments and freezing them. I love putting my own spin on words and create poetry that goes along with each photo I share. This was taken just last week near Bend, OR. My tripod was 80% submerged in this lily pad pond that had an amazing view of Mt Bachelor. The morning fog turned golden just as it burnt up in the distance. A magical moment to sit and wait for these lily pads to catch the first bit of light that created over the mountain. Sounds of the birds and frogs waking up with that first kiss of light was a beautiful memory that plays every time I look at this photo. Attached is another poem written solely for this image.
