sunshinewrobel In anyone wants to know- we appreciated the “before” kitchen. However it wasn’t functional and we needed a better layout for better use of the space. A lot of details were left out due to limited time on the show! We raised the ceiling soffit, added counter area where our kids will eventually eat breakfast and added the coffee bar which gave more pantry space and a wine rack. The rest of the house had too many design elements/eras that were different for us to keep and we needed to pick one style and run with it!

eliasonbeth I'm so over people being so wasteful. With the way the world I s moving towards being more ecofriendly lets see some shows where they just update what is there..... and not RIP out perfectly good cabinets and granite. Just a thought.

helen.rodgers00 Although the black tile is very pretty I can’t imagine using that in a traffic area where you’ll see dog hair and feet print ..the darker you go on floors the harder it is to keep clean.. it shows every little mark.
