bodybybelen Gwen I’ve been following you since I was 15 in Argentina... now I live in Hawaii and the last time I saw you in San Diego you called for the argentines that were there to go on the stage with you...my friend picked me up and I yelled “I’m from Argentina!!” I tried running towards the front, people were pushing me back telling me they weren’t going to let me pass. I kept going. I was even able to make it pass a big Hawaiian with his arms crossed who was pushing me “chest to chest” (im only 100 pounds”) when I finally made it to the barricade in front of the stage... the bouncer told me “sorry girl you missed your chance.” So I stayed there, almost crying. So many things crossed my mind... my childhood, my friends, my family, my brothers in a reggae/ska band, me as their best fan, their concerts, jumping from stages, the rise of no doubt in 1996... I felt I lost the chance at your concert. I stayed until everyone left, and I got to talk to the argentines who made it to the stage with you, and that’s when the bouncer brought me back Adrian Young’s drum sticks... that was one of the best days of my life, but I still dream with talking to you face to face... one day... love you Gwen!

lizztaketwo Took my 11 year old daughter to opening night a year ago. it was like a religious experience! I remember sneaking out of my moms house to go see you guys at CSUF breakfast with KROQ. such a privilege to take my first born with me to opening night.
