I saw the @jimlaheyssb recipe so long ago, and I've been making it ever since. More yeast, short time or usual yeast, longer times, hot water, cold water, experiments galore. It seems to work no matter what you do to it!

I still have the yellowing cutout from The NY Times with his no knead bread recipe. Stands the test of time! Am happy to have tasted the real thing at Sullivan Street Bakery on lonely work lunch breaks in my 20s. ?

@nigellalawson I’ve tried Jim Lahey’s recipe before but following a recent trip to Italy I’ve used 25% of ground semolina to the flour - and this great bread tastes more Puglian’. Delish !
