In 2004 I went to my first Glastonbury very nervously aged 19 with my friend Alex. I was working for a label and band helping to get drinks, escort them places, take them to interviews etc. I broke working protocol by asking John Peel for a fan photo. Which I now can’t find. 💔 it was the WORST weather I’d ever seen but I had the BEST weekend of my life! It was actually a very inspiring weekend as I was like RIGHT I DEFO WANNA WORK IN RADIO AND BE AROUND MUSIC AND PEOPLE! I’ve been lucky enough to go every year since, make proper friends, meet my heroes, see my friends make their dreams come true and had some of the best nights of my life. Can’t wait to get back to the best party on the planet 🌍 💕
