When I go to the movies I often watch them very differently than most people. I stay till the end to read the credits, I sometimes clock a bad wig application 🙈 and dream about what it would be like to one day read my name in the credits, but not ever actually knowing if that could be a reality. There are so many rules, etc.
But let me tell you about the generous and kind human @tessamaethompson is… she may not realize how much she’s helped make one of my dreams come true.
Her activism you may not even be fully aware of because she does so much in the background and doesn’t broadcast it. Some of you may not even realize how instrumental she has been in the @timesupnow movement.
She provides opportunities to women and people of color in the industry.
She brought me on the set of my first movie to create the character look for Agent M, which afforded me the opportunity of working on a few scenes for MEN IN BLACK. Seeing my name in the credits is definitely a bucket list 📝, to say the least.
